What  is Solal Vitamin K2 used for:

Vitamin K2 supports the development and maintenance of bones, teeth and heart health.

Pharmacological Action:

Vitamin K2 is required for the gamma-carboxylation of glutamate in certain proteins. With respect to bone metabolism, three such proteins include osteocalcin, matrix GLa protein, and periostin. Overall, studies suggest that vitamin K2 supplements may increase bone mineral density and bone strength by keeping calcium out of the arteries and in the bones. 

How to use Solal Vitamin K2 capsules:

  • Adults:
    Take 1 capsule daily after food.

Individuals taking blood-thinning medication (e.g. warfarin) should consult their healthcare practitioner prior to use.

If you are on any medication or suffering from any medical condition, it is advisable to seek medical advice before starting any new medicine, supplement or remedy. Contraindications:

Interactions:
Oral anticoagulants: Vitamin K antagonises the effects of oral anticoagulants such as warfarin. Individuals taking warfarin should consult their healthcare practitioners prior to use.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding:
Safety during pregnancy and whilst breastfeeding has not been established.  

What do Solal Vitamin K2 capsules contain:

Each capsule contains the following active ingredients

  • Menaquinone-4 (MK-4) K2 - 93µg
  • Menaquinone (MK-7) K2 - 27µg

Inactive ingredients: Hypromellose vegetarian capsule shell, magnesium stearate, magnesium silicate and microcrystalline cellulose.

  • Allergen: Soy.
    Sugar-free.
    Suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
