What is Lenolax Paediatric Enema?

Lenolax Paediatric Enema 64 ml helps to relieve occasional constipation and is safe for use with babies and toddlers.

How to use:

children 2 to under 12 years of age: 64ml or as directed by physician.

Administration: lubricate the tip of the tube with a suitable lubricant. Place the child on the left side with knees bent, or in the knee-chest position. Insert tube. Squeeze bottle gently until desired quantity has been given. Maintain position until urge to evacuate is strong - usually within two to five minutes.

Ingredients:

Each 1ml contains:

• sodium phosphate heptahydrate 60mg;
• sodium acid phosphate monohydrate 160mg.
• Preservatives: methyl hydroxybenzoate 0.048% m/v;
• sodium benzoate 0.1% m/v.

This product contains 103.0 millimoles of sodium per 64ml dose.
