What is Flordis Fix Wound Spray?

Fix Wound Spray 10ml is suitable for the self-treatment of abrasions, cuts, burns, acute and chronic wounds. It is a 100% natural aerosol spray, specially formulated from a combination of St John’s Wort oil, Neem oil and Olive oil. This wound spray creates a moist wound environment which is required for wound healing and the oil layer prevents the secondary dressing from adhering to the wound.

How to use:

Recommended dosage & directions

Fix Wound Spray is suitable for use on any wound (break in the skin), either open or closed.

This includes:

  • cuts
  • grazes (abrasions)
  • torn skin (lacerations)
  • burns
  • diabetic ulcers
  • bed sores (decubitus ulcers).

Recommended dosage and directions:

Fix Wound Spray can be used from the age of 1 month.

Step 1 — Shake well before use.

Step 2 — Spray Fix Wound Spray directly onto the wound bed and the surrounding skin area at a distance of 5–10cm from the wound. Ensure that the wound and surrounding skin are covered with a clearly visible oil layer. Wait for 30 seconds to 1 minute, and then apply a second layer of Fix Wound Spray to the wound bed and surrounding skin area. Adjust number of puffs to wound size, and do not apply more than 20 puffs per day.

Step 3 — Cover the wound with a suitable dressing (e.g. a plaster or gauze held in place with a bandage).

It is recommended that treatment be repeated every 24 hours.

Fix Wound Spray contains oils extracted from two medicinal plants – St John’s Wort and the Neem tree. These oils, known as Hypericum oil and Neem oil, are combined with olive oil and packaged in an aerosol spray that can be applied to minor and major wounds. Fix Wound Spray also contains propane and butane.

Fix Wound Spray has been tested in hospital and nursing home settings, and 5 clinical research papers on its effects have been published.
