What  is Solal Inositol 750mg used for:

Inositol is a B-type vitamin that helps promote a healthy nervous system. It also contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

Pharmacological Action:

Endogenous inositol is an essential component of cell membrane phospholipids. It has weak lipotropic activity and can move fat out of the liver and intestine cells. Inositol is a constituent of the intracellular phosphatidylinositol second messenger system, which is linked to serotonin, norepinephrine, and cholinergic receptors.

How to use Solal Inositol 750mg Capsules:

  • Adults:
    Take 4 capsules daily or as recommended by your healthcare provider.

Do not exceed recommended dosages unless on the advice of a healthcare practitioner. Do not use this product if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to any of the ingredients. If you are on any medication or suffering from any medical condition, it is advisable to seek medical advice before starting any new medicine, supplement or remedy. Safety in children has not been established. This medicine has not been evaluated by the Medicines Control Council. This medicine is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Side Effects:
Side effects may include nausea, tiredness, headache and dizziness.

Contraindications:
There are no known contraindications.

Interactions:
Carbamazepine, lithium and valproic acid reduce the level of inositol in the brain by inhibiting enzymes responsible for inositol production in the brain. The effect on brain inositol levels may contribute to their effect on bipolar disorder. The effect of inositol supplementation on their therapeutic effect in bipolar disease is unknown.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding:
Safety during pregnancy and whilst breastfeeding has not been established.

What do Solal Inositol 750mg Capsules Contain:

  • Each capsule contains the following active ingredient:

  • Inositol - 500mg

  • Inactive ingredients: Hypromellose (cellulose) vegetarian capsule shell (gelatine free), microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, magnesium silicate, silicon dioxide and colloidal silicon dioxide.

    Sugar-free.
    Suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
