Suction Catheter 12Fr White — Sterile Disposable

High-quality sterile 12Fr suction catheter designed for efficient airway clearance in tracheostomy and endotracheal suctioning. This single-use, flexible catheter delivers atraumatic suctioning with a smooth lumen and universal connector for reliable performance in hospitals, clinics and home-care settings.

Key Benefits

  • Sterile, single-use design reduces cross‑contamination and infection risk.
  • 12 French size (suitable for smaller adult, pediatric or tracheostomy tubes) — precise fit for effective suctioning.
  • Flexible PVC construction with smooth, atraumatic tip and side ports for gentle, efficient secretion removal.
  • Universal connector for easy attachment to standard suction tubing and wall suction units.
  • Lightweight, kink‑resistant catheter for controlled insertion and reliable lumen patency.
Ingredients and Materials

Medical-grade PVC (polyvinyl chloride) catheter body; sterile, single-use construction. Smooth, rounded atraumatic tip with lateral suction ports; universal suction connector. Free from non-declared additives. Manufactured and packaged under sterile conditions for respiratory and airway suctioning applications.

How to Use

Intended for use by trained healthcare professionals or caregivers following clinical protocols. General steps:

  1. Perform hand hygiene and don appropriate PPE.
  2. Prepare suction unit and set suction pressure per facility guidelines (adult/pediatric settings vary).
  3. Open sterile package and attach the catheter to suction tubing using the universal connector.
  4. Without applying suction, gently insert catheter to the required depth; apply intermittent suction while withdrawing in a rotating motion.
  5. Limit each suction pass to recommended duration (commonly <10–15 seconds) and allow patient to recover between passes.
  6. Discard catheter after single use. Follow facility infection control and waste disposal protocols.
Who It’s For

Designed for respiratory therapists, nurses, physicians, emergency personnel, and trained caregivers supporting patients with tracheostomies, endotracheal tubes, or requiring oropharyngeal suctioning. Suitable for hospitals, clinics, long-term care and home-care settings where sterile, disposable suction catheters are required.

Caution & Storage

Caution: For single use only. Do not reuse or resterilize. Use only as directed by clinical guidelines. Suctioning may cause hypoxia, bradycardia or mucosal trauma — monitor the patient continuously and follow recommended suction pressures and time limits. Keep out of reach of children. Check package integrity and expiration date before use. If packaging is damaged, do not use.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keep in original packaging until ready to use to maintain sterility.
