Product Features and Materials

Silicone-coated fabric provides a low-tack wound contact layer, covered by an integrated tubular bandage. The sterile, extra-large dressing measures 3cm in diameter. May be used as a primary or secondary dressing.

How to Use
  • Prepare the wound using an appropriate wound-care protocol and ensure the surrounding skin is dry.
  • Using aseptic technique, peel the packaging apart and remove the dressing from its shiny backing strip.
  • Position the silicone contact layer over the digit tip and gently smooth it over the broken skin.
  • Roll the lower ring of the tubular bandage down over the contact layer and any secondary dressing needed.
  • Roll down the upper ring to create a double-layer protective covering.
  • Dressing changes should be guided by the wound's condition and good wound-care practice. The dressing may remain in place for several days.
  • To remove, gently roll up the upper bandage ring, then the other ring. Lift the non-adhering layer gently from the wound and discard the dressing.
