Opsite Post-Op dressings are constructed from a medical-grade polyurethane film backing with a hypoallergenic acrylic adhesive and a silicone-coated release liner. The dressing is latex-free and designed to be gentle to skin while providing an effective microbial barrier. Exact materials: polyurethane film, acrylic adhesive, and siliconised paper/plastic release liner.

For optimal wound protection and adhesion:

1. Wash hands and clean the wound/incision site per clinical guidance; ensure skin is dry.
2. Select the 9.5 x 8.5cm dressing so wound/incision is centrally covered with at least a 1cm margin of adhesive contact on all sides.
3. Remove release liner and carefully apply the transparent film without stretching the skin; smooth edges to ensure seal.
4. Monitor the wound through the transparent film; replace dressing if edges lift, if it becomes saturated, or if signs of infection appear.
5. Follow clinician instructions for maximum wear time (typical wear up to 7 days unless clinical signs indicate earlier change).
