Pour the contents of one sachet into a small glass (50–100 ml) of water, stir until dissolved and drink immediately. Single-dose sachets are pre-measured for convenience. Follow the dosing and frequency instructions on the product leaflet or as directed by your healthcare professional. If using other oral medications, separate administration by at least 2 hours to avoid adsorption interactions.

Cautions: Do not use in case of suspected intestinal obstruction or if you have a history of chronic constipation without medical advice. May reduce the absorption of concurrently administered oral medications — leave at least 2 hours between Smecta and other medicines. If diarrhoea persists for more than 48 hours or is accompanied by high fever or blood in stools, seek medical attention. Keep out of reach of children.
