What is Preparation H ointment?

Preparation H Ointment 25g works in three ways to provide much-needed relief from symptoms of haemorrhoids (piles). It helps relieve the pain, soothe the itching and also the irritation.

How to use:

Apply freely morning and night and after each bowel movement. Lubricate applicator with a little Preparation H ointment before each application and thoroughly cleanse after use. For full details see enclosed insert.

Ingredients: Each 100 g of Ointment contains:

  • Yeast Cell Extract - 1.0 g
  • Shark Liver Oil -3.0 g.

Preservative:

  • Methyl Parahydroxybenzoate 0.1 % w/w,
  • Propyl Parahydroxybenzoate 0.2 % w/w.
