Pharma South Africa Allergy-Check Self Test
Pharma South Africa Allergy-Check Self Test is a rapid immunodiagnostic self-test that detects elevated total IgE antibodies in a small capillary whole-blood sample.
Elevated IgE may be associated with an allergic tendency, but this test does not identify the specific substance causing symptoms and cannot diagnose an allergy by itself.
Key Benefits
- Qualitative screening for elevated total IgE
- Uses a small finger-prick capillary blood sample
- Rapid visual result in approximately 10 minutes
- Single-test home format
- Includes the test components required by the manufacturer’s instructions
How to Use
Read the complete leaflet before starting. Collect and apply the blood sample, add the supplied diluent and read the result only at the time specified in the instructions.
Result Interpretation
An elevated-IgE result does not identify a particular allergen or predict the severity of a reaction. Discuss positive, unclear or persistent symptoms with a healthcare professional or allergy specialist.
Caution & Storage
For in-vitro diagnostic use only. Single use only. Do not use if the pouch is damaged or expired. Store sealed according to the box instructions and keep the lancet out of reach of children.
