Ingredients and Materials
Opsite Incise Drape 4987 is manufactured from a thin, transparent polyurethane film with a medical-grade, hypoallergenic acrylic adhesive. The product is sterile and single-use. Materials: polyurethane film backing, acrylic adhesive, paper release liner. Latex-free. No antiseptic impregnation is included in this product (non-iodinated).
How to Use
- Perform standard preoperative skin preparation and ensure skin is fully dry.
- Open the sterile pouch using aseptic technique and remove the drape.
- Peel back the release liner, position the drape so the central film covers the intended incision area and the adhesive frame contacts intact skin.
- Smooth the drape from the centre outward to ensure full adhesion and eliminate wrinkles; avoid stretching excessively.
- Proceed with incision through the film if required, following local surgical protocol.
- After the procedure, remove and dispose of the drape as clinical waste; do not reuse.
