2. Apply: Start at the narrowest point, anchor the bandage and wrap with even tension. Overlap each turn by approximately 50% for consistent support.
3. Secure: Fasten with clips, tape or a bandage fastener. Avoid applying excessive tension—tight bandaging can restrict circulation.
4. Monitor: Check distal circulation (colour, warmth, sensation) regularly. Re-adjust if there is numbness, tingling or swelling below the bandaged area.
