Ingredients and Materials
Contains sterile, medical-grade Leptospermum (Manuka-type) honey as the active ingredient. Free from added antibiotics and harsh preservatives. Packaged in a 50 g, medical-grade tube suitable for single-patient use.
How to Use
1. Cleanse the wound according to local protocol and pat dry the surrounding skin. 2. Apply a thin, even layer of Melcura HoneyPlus directly onto the wound bed (approximately 2–3 mm). 3. Cover with an appropriate secondary dressing to manage exudate. 4. Change dressings daily or as directed by a healthcare professional; reassess wound progress regularly. For heavily exuding wounds, use an absorbent secondary dressing. If wound condition worsens, seek clinical advice.
