Medicolab 10% Neutral Buffered Formalin (NBF) 500 ml is a ready-to-use tissue fixative and specimen preservative widely used in histology, pathology and research laboratories. Ingredients and Materials

How to Use
- Use Medicolab 10% Neutral Buffered Formalin as a fixative for surgical specimens, biopsies and tissue samples. Ensure specimens are fully immersed.
- Recommended specimen-to-fixative volume ratio: minimum 1:10 (tissue to formalin) to allow adequate penetration.
- Typical fixation times: small biopsies 6–24 hours; larger surgical specimens 24–48 hours or as required by lab protocol. Do not freeze specimens prior to fixation. Follow institutional SOPs for fixation time and downstream processing.
- Not for injection or in vivo use. For laboratory use only.

Caution & Storage

- First aid: in case of contact, flush affected area with plenty of water and seek medical attention. If inhaled, move to fresh air and get medical help if symptoms persist.
- Storage: keep container tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated place away from incompatible materials (strong oxidizers or reducing agents). Store at ambient laboratory temperatures. Keep out of reach of children.
