Intenscare Eye Pad Single Sterile (1 Unit) is a single-use, sterile eye dressing designed to protect and cushion the closed eyelid after injury, surgery or during first aid. Soft, absorbent and easy to apply, this eye pad is ideal for clinical settings, ambulances and home first aid kits where reliable eye protection and hygiene are essential.
Key Benefits
- Sterile single-use dressing for safe, hygienic eye protection
- Soft, absorbent core cushions the eyelid and helps manage minor discharge
- Non-irritating materials suitable for sensitive skin
- Convenient individual sterile pouch — ideal for first aid kits and clinical use
- Lightweight and comfortable for patient compliance during recovery
Ingredients and Materials
The Intenscare sterile eye pad typically comprises a soft absorbent cotton core or equivalent absorbent pad encased in a non-woven cover and supplied in an individual sterile pouch. Materials are selected for comfort and minimal irritation; product is manufactured to medical sterility standards. (Check product packaging for exact material specifications and allergen information.)
How to Use
- Wash hands thoroughly before handling the sterile pouch.
- Open the sterile pouch carefully without touching the inner surface of the pad.
- Ask the patient to gently close the affected eye. Place the pad over the closed eyelid so the absorbent side faces the eye.
- Secure the pad using suitable medical tape or an eye bandage — avoid applying direct pressure to the eyeball.
- Replace the pad if it becomes contaminated or soiled. Single-use only; discard after use.
Who It’s For
Suitable for healthcare professionals, emergency responders, ophthalmic clinics and home first aid kits. Recommended for post-operative eye protection, minor eye injuries, foreign-body protection, and situations requiring a sterile ocular dressing. Not intended to diagnose or treat underlying serious eye conditions — seek professional care when needed.
