What is Infacare Stage 1 Infant Starter Formula?

Infacare Stage 1 Infant Starter Formula 400g is a powdered infant milk formula that’s been scientifically formulated to help with the optimal growth of your baby from birth up to 6 months.

How to use:

  • Preparation instructions: Failure to follow instructions may make your baby ill.
  • Wash hands and all feeding utensils well.
  • Boil all items for 5 minutes. Close clean bottles/cups until used.
  • This product should be prepared with safe drinkable and previously boiled water before feeding. Boil fresh water for 5 minutes. Do not over boil water.
  • Cool boiled water to lukewarm then pour correct amount into bottle/cup.
  • Using scoop provided, measure correct amount of powder. Level each scoop with the back of a clean, dry knife.
  • Add powder to water. Do not make feeds stronger or weaker by adding extra powder or water. If a cup is used, stir until powder dissolves completely.
  • If bottle is used, attach teat, close bottle, shake well and test temperature by shaking a few drops onto inside of wrist.
  • Milk should be lukewarm. To prevent choking, infant must be held upright while feeding.

mixing instructions: Preparation for a single feed

Age of infant - baby's weight (kg) - amount or water (ml) - level scoops - feeds in 24 hours.

0-2 weeks - 2.5-3.5 (baby's weight) - 60ml - 2 - 8.

2-4 weeks - 3.5-4 (baby's weight)  - 90ml - 3 - 7.

4-6weeks - 4-5 (baby's weight) - 120ml - 4 - 6.

6-8 weeks - 5-6 (baby's weight)  - 150ml - 5 - 5.

2-4 months - 6-7 (baby's weight)  - 180ml - 6 - 5.

4-6 months - > 7  (baby's weight) - 210ml - 7 - 5.

Use only enclosed scoop. Prepare formula just before infant is to be fed. One feed should be prepared at a time. If preparing more than one feed, refrigerate and use within 24 hours. Discard unfinished feeds. The package insert provides instructions for proper preparation and use in other languages.
