Ingredients and Materials

Each Homemed 5 Panel Dipcard contains coated immunoassay test strips embedded in a plastic dipcard housing. The tests use antibodies specific to drug metabolites and are calibrated to commonly accepted cut-off concentrations for rapid urine screening. Package contents: 25 individually sealed dipcards and instructions for use. Materials are for in vitro diagnostic screening only.

How to Use
  1. Collect a fresh urine specimen in a clean container.
  2. Remove the dipcard from the sealed pouch and dip the absorbent end vertically into the urine for 100 seconds (do not immerse above the MAX line).
  3. Place the card on a flat, non-absorbent surface and start a timer.
  4. Read results at 30 minutes. Negative results show a colored line in both the control (C) and test (T) regions. A missing test line (with a visible control line) indicates a presumptive positive for that drug class. Do not interpret results after 10 minutes.
  5. Discard after single use. For any presumptive positive, collect a confirmatory specimen and send to an accredited laboratory.
