Healthease Urine Bag 2L — Tap & Sampling Port

The Healthease 2L Urine Bag with tap and sampling port is a sterile, single-use urine collection solution designed for reliable catheter drainage in hospital, clinical and home care settings. Clear volume graduations, a secure drainage tap and an aseptic sampling port allow accurate measurement, safe specimen collection and easy disposal — making it an essential urology supply for postoperative, immobile and chronic catheterised patients.

Key Benefits

  • 2-litre capacity with clear, easy-to-read graduations for accurate urine output monitoring.
  • Integrated drainage tap for rapid, hygienic emptying and controlled flow.
  • Aseptic sampling port for safe, contamination-free specimen collection without disconnecting the system.
  • Anti-reflux/non-return design helps prevent backflow and reduces infection risk.
  • Transparent medical-grade construction for continuous observation of urine colour and volume.
  • Sterile, single-use and latex-free construction suitable for sensitive patients.
  • Easy bedside hanging options and secure catheter connection compatible with standard Foley catheters.
Ingredients and Materials

Manufactured from medical-grade PVC materials with a smooth inner surface to reduce sediment trapping. Components include a transparent PVC collection reservoir, polypropylene drainage tap and an integrated sampling port. The product is supplied sterile and is latex-free to minimise allergen exposure. Materials are chosen for durability, flexibility and patient safety in urology and catheter care.

How to Use

1. Verify the package integrity and sterile expiry before use. 2. Attach the bag inlet securely to the catheter drainage outlet using the connector provided, ensuring a leak-free fit. 3. Hang the bag below bladder level on a bed rail or designated hanger to allow gravity drainage. 4. To empty, place a clean container beneath the tap, open the drainage tap and allow urine to flow, then close the tap securely. 5. For specimen collection, use the sampling port with a sterile syringe or needle as per clinical protocol to withdraw the required volume aseptically. 6. Dispose of the bag after single use according to local clinical waste regulations.

Who It’s For

Suitable for adults and paediatric patients requiring urinary catheter drainage. Ideal for postoperative patients, immobile or bedridden individuals, long-term catheter care, acute care wards, home healthcare and community nursing settings. Recommended for healthcare professionals and carers responsible for catheter management, urine monitoring and specimen collection.

Caution & Storage

Caution: For single use only. Do not reuse or attempt to re-sterilise. Inspect the bag and connections for damage before use. Maintain aseptic technique during sampling and connection to reduce infection risk. Keep the drainage tap closed when not in use. Seek clinical guidance if leakage, disconnection or unexpected staining occurs.

Storage: Store in original packaging in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Recommended storage temperature: room temperature (avoid extremes). Do not use if packaging is damaged or the sterile seal is broken. Follow local disposal and biomedical waste guidelines.
