Granugel 15g Gel
Granugel 15g Gel
Granugel 15g Gel is a sterile, water-based hydrogel formulated to support moist wound healing and promote gentle autolytic debridement. Designed for use on acute and chronic wounds including pressure injuries, diabetic foot ulcers, burns and post-surgical sites, Granugel helps maintain a moisture-balanced environment to support natural healing and reduce pain at the wound bed.
Key Benefits
- Supports moist wound healing to accelerate tissue repair and reduce scab formation
- Promotes autolytic debridement for safe, non-traumatic removal of slough and necrotic tissue
- Soothing, cooling gel consistency that helps relieve discomfort at the wound site
- Easy to apply sterile gel that conforms to irregular wound surfaces
- Compatible with a variety of secondary dressings for flexible wound management
Ingredients and Materials
Granugel 15g Gel is an amorphous, sterile hydrogel (water-based polymer gel) formulated to provide moisture and aid autolytic debridement. The product contains moisturizing agents in a sterile gel base. For a complete and current ingredient list, preservatives and excipients, always refer to the product packaging or manufacturer leaflet.
How to Use
- Cleanse the wound according to clinical guidance and pat the surrounding skin dry.
- Apply a thin layer of Granugel directly into the wound bed or onto wound dressing to fully cover the wound surface.
- Cover with an appropriate secondary dressing (e.g., foam, film or gauze) to maintain a moist environment.
- Frequency of dressing changes depends on wound condition; reassess the wound regularly and follow local protocols—commonly every 24–72 hours or as clinically indicated.
- Do not use Granugel as an internal or intravascular product. Seek clinical advice for deep tunnelling wounds or heavy exudate.
Who It’s For
Granugel 15g Gel is suitable for patients with a range of acute and chronic wounds including pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, partial-thickness burns, postoperative wounds and other sloughy or dry wounds requiring moist wound management. It is appropriate for use by healthcare professionals in clinical settings and by informed caregivers at home under clinical guidance.
