FreeStyle Optium H B-Ketone Strips are single-use plastic diagnostic test strips designed for enzymatic measurement of beta-hydroxybutyrate (BHB) in fresh capillary whole blood. Each strip contains specialised enzymes, mediators, and stabilising agents formulated for use with compatible FreeStyle Optium Neo H meters. Strips are individually protected within a sealed vial to help prevent moisture contamination and maintain testing accuracy.

1. Wash and dry hands thoroughly before testing.
2. Insert a FreeStyle Optium H B-Ketone Strip into a compatible FreeStyle Optium Neo H meter.
3. Use a lancing device to obtain a small drop of capillary blood.
4. Apply the blood sample to the designated sample area on the strip.
5. Wait approximately 10 seconds for the ketone result to appear on the meter display.
6. Safely dispose of the used strip and lancet after single use.
