Active ingredient: n‑butyl cyanoacrylate (medical‑grade) — a fast‑acting cyanoacrylate tissue adhesive. Other components: proprietary stabilisers and polymerisation inhibitors formulated for medical use. Packaged in a sterile single‑dose aluminium/polymer sachet designed to preserve adhesive integrity until use.

1. Clean the wound thoroughly with saline or antiseptic and ensure bleeding is controlled.
2. Dry the surrounding skin completely — moisture prevents proper bonding.
3. Approximate wound edges carefully using fingers or forceps; do not stretch skin.
4. Open the sterile sachet and apply a small drop of Epiglu along the approximated edges; avoid excess adhesive.
5. Hold edges together for 30–60 seconds until a clear film forms. Allow adhesive to cure fully (up to 2 minutes) before moving the area.
6. Do not apply internally or into deep puncture wounds. Discard sachet after single use.

Epiglu is suitable for healthcare professionals, paramedics and trained first‑aid providers managing superficial skin lacerations, small surgical incisions and minor trauma. It’s a practical addition to first aid kits, urgent care clinics and surgical suites as a suture alternative for appropriate wounds. Not intended for use on mucous membranes, near eyes, deep or infected wounds, or arterial bleeds.
