Drawtex 15 x 20cm D1520 — Hydroconductive Wound Dressing

Drawtex D1520 is a sterile, hydroconductive absorbent dressing (15 x 20cm) designed for advanced exudate management. Supplied as a pack of 10 single-use dressings, Drawtex uses hydroconductive technology to draw and retain wound exudate, helping to protect surrounding skin and support a cleaner wound environment for clinicians and carers managing moderate-to-high exuding wounds.

Key benefits

  • Hydroconductive technology for rapid exudate removal and reliable fluid distribution
  • High absorbency reduces risk of maceration and simplifies dressing changes
  • Conforms to wound bed for comfortable fit and effective contact
  • Sterile, single use dressing ideal for clinical and community wound care
  • Suitable for a wide range of wounds including leg ulcers, pressure injuries and surgical wounds
Ingredients and Materials

Drawtex dressings are constructed from a hydroconductive absorbent matrix and advanced fibre layers designed to draw exudate away from the wound bed. The dressing comprises an absorbent core (hydroconductive fibres and absorbent matrix), a wound-facing non-adherent layer to protect the tissue, and a breathable outer non-woven cover. Packaged sterile and latex-free. (For full material specification and regulatory details, consult the manufacturer documentation.)

How to Use
  1. Perform wound assessment and clean wound according to local protocol.
  2. Open sterile pack and apply Drawtex with the wound-facing side in contact with the wound bed; cut to size if required.
  3. Secure with an appropriate secondary dressing or fixation method.
  4. Monitor dressing saturation and wound status; change dressing as directed by clinical assessment or manufacturer guidance.
  5. Discard after single use. Do not re-sterilise.
Who It’s For

Designed for healthcare professionals, carers and patients requiring effective exudate management. Common indications include moderate-to-high exuding wounds such as venous leg ulcers, pressure injuries, surgical wounds, donor sites and traumatic wounds. Suitable for use in hospital, clinic and community settings under clinical supervision.
