Cosmopor E comprises a sterile absorbent pad (viscose/polyester blend) combined with a breathable, microporous film or non-woven backing and a hypoallergenic acrylic adhesive. The dressing is latex-free and designed for single-patient use to maintain sterility. Materials are selected to balance absorbency, breathability and gentle adhesion for post-op and minor wound care.

1. Wash and dry hands thoroughly before handling the sterile dressing.
2. Clean the wound as directed by your healthcare professional and dry the surrounding skin.
3. Carefully remove the protective liner without touching the sterile pad.
4. Center the absorbent pad over the wound and smooth the adhesive border onto intact skin, avoiding tension or creasing.
5. Change the dressing according to wound exudate levels or your clinician’s advice. Discard after single use.

Ideal for patients requiring a sterile adhesive island dressing for post-operative incisions, minor lacerations, donor sites, catheter sites and low-to-moderate exuding wounds. Suitable for adults and children when used under healthcare guidance. Recommended for those with sensitive skin due to its hypoallergenic adhesive.
