Clinihealth Pressure Activated Safety Lancet 23g 100 Pack
Clinihealth Pressure-Activated Safety Lancet 23G
Clinihealth 23G pressure-activated safety lancets provide fast, sterile capillary blood sampling for fingerstick glucose testing. This 100-pack of single-use, pressure-activated lancets delivers consistent puncture depth and reduced handling, helping to minimise pain and needle-stick risk during diabetes monitoring at home or in clinical settings.
Key Benefits
- Pressure-activated trigger for consistent, controlled fingerstick sampling — ideal for glucose testing and point-of-care diagnostics.
- 23G stainless steel needle provides reliable blood flow with minimal discomfort.
- Single-use, individually sterile-packed lancets reduce cross-contamination risk.
- Built-in safety features (automatic needle shielding) help prevent accidental needlestick injuries after use.
- Economical 100-pack supply — suitable for regular diabetes self-monitoring, clinics, and care facilities.
Ingredients and Materials
Each sterile, single-use lancet contains a 23-gauge stainless steel needle housed in a medical-grade, latex-free plastic casing with an internal spring and pressure-activation mechanism. Individually packaged in sealed sterile pouches. (Materials: stainless steel needle, medical-grade ABS/PP plastic housing, sterility assured at packaging.)
How to Use
- Wash and dry hands thoroughly. Choose a warm finger and massage to increase blood flow.
- Remove a single lancet from its sterile pouch. Do not use if packaging is damaged or past expiry.
- Place the lancet against the side of the fingertip and press firmly until the pressure-activated trigger engages (you may hear or feel a click).
- Collect the blood drop with your glucose test strip or device. Wipe away the first drop if instructed by your glucose meter manufacturer.
- Dispose of the used lancet immediately into an approved sharps container. Do not reuse.
Who It’s For
Suitable for people with diabetes performing routine blood glucose monitoring, healthcare professionals in clinics and hospitals, care-home staff, caregivers, and anyone requiring reliable fingerstick blood sampling. Ideal for both home use and point-of-care testing.
Caution & Storage
For single use only. Do not reuse lancets — reusing increases infection and injury risk. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not use if the sterile pouch is damaged or past the expiry date. Dispose of used lancets in a designated sharps container in accordance with local regulations. If unusual pain or bleeding occurs, consult a healthcare professional.
