Active: Chitosan granules (derived from chitin). 2g sterile granules per sachet. Packaging: sterile single-use foil sachet. No biological coagulation factors are used; product acts via a chitosan matrix to trap blood cells and promote clot formation.

1. Expose the wound and, if possible, locate the bleeding source.
2. Remove the sterile 2g sachet. Open carefully and pour granules directly into the wound cavity or onto the bleeding surface.
3. Pack the wound tightly with granules and maintain direct pressure for at least 3–5 minutes. If bleeding continues, reapply pressure and add additional dressings as required.
4. Once bleeding is controlled, apply a pressure dressing. Transport to definitive medical care promptly; continue monitoring for rebleeding.
5. For severe extremity arterial bleeding, apply a tourniquet proximal to the wound per local protocols in addition to using Celox.
