1. Clean and dress any wound before applying the bandage.
2. Start wrapping at the farthest point from the heart and work toward it for swelling control (e.g., toes to ankle, fingers to wrist).
3. Overlap each turn by about half the width to create even compression and secure the dressing.
4. Fasten with clips or medical tape. Avoid excess tightness — check circulation (colour, warmth, sensation) after application.
5. For persistent pain, numbness or increasing swelling, remove bandage and seek medical advice.
