Ingredients and Materials

How to Use
  1. Inspect packaging and expiration date; do not use if seal is broken.
  2. Maintain aseptic technique. Spike the blood bag, open the clamp and prime the set until fluid fills the blood filter and drip chamber.
  3. Connect securely to the patient IV line using the Luer connector or facility-approved adapter.
  4. Set the infusion rate with the roller clamp or regulated infusion device, and monitor the patient according to transfusion protocols.
  5. After use, dispose of the set as clinical/sharps waste following institutional guidelines.
