Avacare Buretrol Set 150ml — Precise IV Infusion Control

The Avacare Buretrol Set 150ml is a sterile, single-use burette infusion set engineered for precise IV fluid and medication delivery. Ideal for pediatric, neonatal and adult infusion where accurate small-volume dosing and drip control are essential, this burette set delivers dependable, controlled administration for hospitals, clinics and home-care settings.

Key Benefits

  • Accurate small-volume dosing: 150ml calibrated burette chamber for precise measurement of IV fluids and medications.
  • Enhanced infusion control: built-in drip chamber and roller clamp provide consistent flow regulation and reduced risk of fluid overload.
  • Safe, sterile and single-use: reduces cross-contamination and infection risks in clinical environments.
  • Needleless access ports & Luer lock compatible: facilitates medication injection and secure connections to standard IV catheters and extension sets.
  • Latex-free materials: suitable for patients with latex sensitivities and broad clinical applications.
Ingredients and Materials

Constructed from medical-grade, latex-free PVC and polycarbonate components. Includes a 150ml graduated burette chamber, anti-reflux valve, sterile spike for IV bag access, integrated drip chamber, roller clamp, needleless injection port (access port), and standard male Luer lock connector. All components are manufactured to meet ISO and EN standards for single-use infusion devices.

How to Use
  1. Inspect packaging for damage and check expiry date. Use only if sterile seal is intact.
  2. Spike the IV fluid bag and fill the burette chamber to the required calibrated volume (up to 150ml).
  3. Prime the line to remove air, connect the Luer lock to the patient IV access, and secure connection.
  4. Adjust flow with the roller clamp for coarse control and use the burette graduations for precise dosing.
  5. Use the needleless injection port for medication boluses as required; observe aseptic technique.
  6. Discard after single use following local clinical waste and sharps disposal regulations.
Who It’s For

Designed for healthcare professionals and caregivers in hospitals, emergency departments, pediatric and neonatal units, outpatient clinics and home infusion programs. Particularly beneficial for pediatric patients, neonates, geriatric patients and any clinical situation requiring tight fluid and medication control.

Caution & Storage

Caution: For single use only. Do not reuse or re-sterilize. Inspect before use—do not use if package is damaged, contaminated, or expired. Maintain aseptic technique during setup and administration. Avoid excessive pressure on the burette chamber to prevent leaks. Monitor patient continuously for signs of infiltration or fluid overload.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Recommended storage temperature 10–25°C. Keep in original packaging until use. Dispose of according to local biohazard and medical waste regulations.
