Alula Promil 2 Gold Follow-On Formula 400g is a milk-based formula for infants aged 6 to 12 months. It is intended for use when breastfeeding is not possible and does not contain breast milk.
Ingredients
- Protein and carbohydrate ingredients: Skimmed milk powder, lactose and whey protein concentrate.
- Vegetable oils: Palm fruit, coconut or palm kernel or palm kernel olein, soybean, canola oil or canola seed or high oleic sunflower oil.
- Other ingredients: Inulin, oligofructose, soybean lecithin, long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids from single-cell sources, L-taurine, nucleotides, vanillin, citric acid, mixed tocopherols concentrate, ascorbyl palmitate and lutein.
- Minerals and trace elements: Calcium hydroxide, sodium citrate, sodium bicarbonate, magnesium chloride, ferrous sulphate, calcium chloride, potassium hydroxide, zinc sulphate, manganese sulphate, copper sulphate, potassium chloride, potassium iodide, sodium selenite and choline chloride.
- Vitamins and related ingredients: Ascorbic acid, meso-inositol, DL-alpha tocopheryl acetate, nicotinamide, calcium-D-pantothenate, retinyl palmitate, cholecalciferol, thiamine hydrochloride, riboflavin, pyridoxine hydrochloride, beta-carotene, folic acid, phytonadione, biotin and cyanocobalamin.
How to Use
- Wash hands and feeding utensils thoroughly. Boil utensils for 5 minutes and keep clean bottles or cups closed until needed.
- Boil fresh safe drinking water for 5 minutes, without overboiling. Cool it to lukewarm before measuring the required amount into a bottle or cup.
- Use only the enclosed scoop. Add the required number of level scoops, using the back of a clean, dry knife to level each scoop. Do not add extra powder or water.
- For infants aged 6 to 8 months and weighing 7 to 7.5kg, use 180ml water with 3 level scoops for 4 feeds in 24 hours.
- For infants aged 8 to 10 months and weighing 7.5 to 8kg, use 180ml water with 3 level scoops for 5 feeds in 24 hours.
- For infants aged 10 to 12 months and weighing 8 to 9kg, use 180ml water with 3 level scoops for 5 feeds in 24 hours.
- Stir cup feeds until the powder dissolves. For bottle feeds, attach the teat, close and shake well, then check that the feed is lukewarm before feeding.
- Hold the infant upright while feeding. Prepare each feed immediately before use and discard any unfinished feed.
