Alula Gold 1 Newborn Infant Starter Formula 900g is a milk-based formula for infants aged 0 to 6 months. It is intended for use when breastfeeding is not possible and does not contain breast milk.
Ingredients
- Carbohydrate and protein ingredients: Lactose, skimmed milk powder and whey protein concentrate enriched with alpha-lactalbumin.
- Vegetable oils: Palm fruit, coconut or palm kernel or palm kernel olein oil, soybean oil, canola seed or high oleic sunflower oil.
- Fatty acids and other ingredients: Soybean lecithin, arachidonic acid, docosahexaenoic acid, L-tyrosine, citric acid, L-taurine, nucleotides, L-carnitine, mixed tocopherols concentrate, ascorbyl palmitate and lutein.
- Minerals: Sodium citrate, calcium carbonate, potassium citrate, magnesium chloride, potassium chloride, calcium chloride, calcium hydroxide, calcium phosphate, potassium bicarbonate, ferrous sulphate, potassium hydroxide, zinc sulphate, copper sulphate, manganese sulphate, potassium iodide and sodium selenite.
- Vitamins and related nutrients: Ascorbic acid, choline chloride, meso-inositol, DL-alpha tocopheryl acetate, nicotinamide, calcium-D-pantothenate, thiamine hydrochloride, retinyl palmitate, riboflavin, pyridoxine hydrochloride, cholecalciferol, beta-carotene, folic acid, phytonadione, biotin and cyanocobalamin.
How to Use
- Wash hands and feeding utensils well. Boil utensils for 5 minutes, then keep clean bottles or cups closed until needed.
- Use safe drinking water that has been freshly boiled for 5 minutes. Do not overboil. Cool the water until lukewarm before pouring the required amount into a bottle or cup.
- Use the supplied scoop to measure the required powder. Level each scoop using the back of a clean, dry knife, then add the powder to the water. Do not add extra powder or water.
- Stir until dissolved when using a cup. When using a bottle, attach the teat, close and shake well. Test the temperature on the inside of the wrist before feeding. The milk should be lukewarm.

- Store in a cool, dry place. Replace the plastic lid after use and avoid prolonged storage at excessive temperatures.
