Alula Comfort Gold Infant Formula 900g is a comfort infant formula intended for infants from birth to 12 months. The tin includes an enclosed scoop for measuring powder.

Ingredients Lactose; vegetable oils (high 2-palmitic from palm fruit, soybean, high oleic sunflower seed or safflower seed, coconut); partially hydrolysed whey protein; corn syrup solids and maltodextrin; long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids from single-cell sources (arachidonic acid of Mortierella alpina origin, docosahexaenoic acid of Crypthecodinium cohnii origin); soybean lecithin; L-histidine, L-tyrosine, taurine and L-carnitine; nucleotides (cytidine-5'-monophosphate, disodium uridine-5'-monophosphate, adenosine-5'-monophosphate, disodium inosine-5'-monophosphate, disodium guanosine-5'-monophosphate); mixed tocopherols concentrate, ascorbyl palmitate, lutein from marigold; minerals and vitamins.
How to Use
  • Wash hands and feeding utensils. Boil feeding items for 5 minutes, then keep clean bottles or cups closed until use.
  • Prepare with safe drinking water that has been freshly boiled for 5 minutes. Allow the water to cool to lukewarm before adding it to the bottle or cup.
  • Use only the enclosed scoop. Level each scoop with the back of a clean, dry knife. Do not make feeds stronger or weaker by adding extra powder or water.
  • For a 0 to 2 week old infant weighing 2.5kg to 3.5kg, use 60ml water and 2 level scoops, with 8 feeds in 24 hours.
  • For a 2 to 4 week old infant weighing 3.5kg to 4kg, use 90ml water and 3 level scoops, with 7 feeds in 24 hours.
  • For an infant aged 1 to 2 months weighing 4kg to 6kg, use 120ml water and 4 level scoops, with 6 feeds in 24 hours.
  • For an infant aged 2 to 4 months weighing 6kg to 7kg, use 150ml water and 5 level scoops, with 6 feeds in 24 hours.
  • For an infant aged 4 to 6 months weighing more than 7kg, use 180ml water and 6 level scoops, with 4 to 5 feeds in 24 hours.
  • For an infant aged 6 to 12 months weighing more than 7kg, use 180ml water and 6 level scoops, with 4 to 5 feeds in 24 hours.
  • Stir cup feeds until the powder dissolves completely. For bottle feeds, attach the teat, close the bottle, shake well and test the temperature on the inside of the wrist. Feed the infant upright.
  • Prepare one feed at a time. If preparing more than one feed, refrigerate it and use within 24 hours. Discard unfinished feeds.
Caution & Storage
  • Breast milk is the best food for babies.
  • Use under medical supervision.
  • This product is not always sterile and must be prepared and used appropriately.
  • Do not use for parenteral administration.
  • Keep the can in a cool, dry place and replace the plastic lid after use.
  • Use within 4 weeks of opening. Avoid prolonged storage at excessive temperatures.
  • Check the expiry date on the bottom of the can.
