Ingredients and Materials

Manufactured from 100% medical‑grade silicone (silicone elastomer) with biocompatible components. Balloon and catheter lumen are silicone; product is latex‑free. Sterile packaged for single use.

How to Use

For use by trained healthcare professionals or under clinical instruction. Follow local protocols and aseptic technique.

  1. Perform hand hygiene and prepare a sterile field.
  2. Open sterile packaging and inspect catheter for damage.
  3. Lubricate tip as required and insert catheter into the urethra until urine flows.
  4. Advance a further 2–3 cm, then inflate the balloon with sterile water to the recommended 5–10 ml volume to secure placement.
  5. Gently retract until resistance is felt to seat the balloon. Secure catheter to the thigh and attach drainage system.
  6. Document size, balloon fill volume and insertion time. Monitor urine output and site condition.
Who It’s For

Indicated for patients requiring indwelling urinary drainage including postoperative care, urinary retention, urology procedures and long‑term management where a silicone indwelling catheter is preferred. Suitable for adult patients and for use in hospitals, surgical centres, and home care when managed by trained caregivers.

Caution & Storage

Caution: Single‑use medical device. Do not reuse or resterilise. Inspect packaging and catheter integrity before use; do not use if the sterile barrier is damaged. Do not overinflate the balloon; adhere to the recommended 5–10 ml fill volume. If resistance is met during insertion or removal, stop and seek clinical assistance. Keep out of reach of children.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keep in original sterile packaging until ready for use.
