AeroChamber Plus Flow-Vu Adult Small Mask, Purple Anti-Static Valved Holding Chamber is for delivering prescribed aerosol medication to the lungs from a metered dose inhaler. Its Flow-Vu inhalation indicator provides visible feedback to help check the mask seal and coordinate inhaler activation with breathing.
Key Benefits
- Flow-Vu indicator, which moves towards the user during inhalation only when there is a proper seal.
- Recognise when inhalation is too fast with an audible whistle that signals the need to slow down.
Product Features and Materials
One anti-static valved holding chamber with a small adult mask and purple backpiece. Free of bisphenol A (BPA), phthalates, latex, lead and PVC.
How to Use
- Remove the inhaler's cap and shake the inhaler immediately before use as specified in its instructions.
- Insert the inhaler into the chamber's backpiece.
- Place the mask against the face, ensuring an effective seal.
- Breathe out, then press the inhaler once as you begin a slow inhalation.
- Keep the mask sealed in place and breathe in and out through the chamber for 5 to 6 breaths.
- Slow your inhalation if the whistle sounds.
- Give only one puff at a time. Use the waiting interval specified for your inhaler before another puff.
- A person assisting can watch the Flow-Vu indicator to check the seal, coordinate inhaler activation with inhalation and count breaths.
- Clean weekly. Remove the backpiece and twist off the frontpiece.
- For hand washing, soak the parts for 15 minutes in a mild solution of liquid dish detergent and clean lukewarm water. Agitate gently, then rinse with clean water.
- Alternatively, secure the parts face up on the dishwasher's top rack and use a normal or light cycle with rinse aid. Avoid washing with heavily soiled dishes and do not heat dry.
- Shake off excess water and leave the parts upright to air dry completely before reassembly.
- Refit the frontpiece and twist until securely locked. Align the backpiece's alignment feature with the Flow-Vu indicator, then press the backpiece firmly into place.
- If medication builds up inside the chamber, gently wash the interior with a soft cloth.
Caution & Storage

- Before each use, inspect the chamber for visible dust or debris and clean it if needed.
