How to Use
- Assess wound and surrounding skin per local clinical protocol.
- Cleanse wound as appropriate and dry surrounding skin.
- Apply Actisorb Silver 220 with the charcoal side facing the wound bed to maximise adsorption of odour and contact with exudate.
- Cover with a suitable secondary/cover dressing to secure and provide additional absorbency if required.
- Change dressing as clinically indicated and according to exudate levels — follow local guidelines and the manufacturer’s IFU for wear time recommendations.
- Dispose of used dressing as clinical waste.
