Accu-Chek FastClix Lancets 24 Pack These sterile, single-use lancets are supplied in preloaded drums to obtain capillary blood samples for testing. They are compatible only with the Accu-Chek FastClix lancing device.
Key Benefits
- Each drum contains six preloaded lancets, reducing direct handling of individual lancets.
- Precision-guided, 30-gauge bevelled lancets are designed for smoother entry and reduced finger-prick pain.
- After triggering, the lancet retracts automatically into the drum, where used lancets remain stored.
How to Use
- Wash your hands with warm water and soap, then dry them well.
- Remove the cap from the Accu-Chek FastClix lancing device. Insert a new drum with the white end first. Do not press the release button or rest the button on a surface while inserting the drum.
- Align the notch on the cap with the notch on the device and push the cap fully into position. Do not force it.
- Set the required penetration depth with the comfort dial. If you have not used the device before, begin with a low setting, such as 2.
- Press the device firmly against the side of the selected fingertip and press the release button fully. Massage the finger towards the fingertip to form a blood drop. Do not press or squeeze the finger.
- Test the blood immediately using your diagnostic device.
- Use each lancet once only. Move the side lever fully forward and back to advance to a new lancet before the next blood collection.
- After all six lancets have been used, remove the used drum and insert a new one.
Caution & Storage
- For use by one person only in a home setting. Do not share the lancing device or lancet drum, even with family members, and do not use it to collect blood from multiple patients.
- Use only Accu-Chek FastClix lancet drums with the Accu-Chek FastClix lancing device. Other lancets or drums may impair its operation or damage it permanently.
- Do not use a drum that is deformed, cracked, damaged or beyond its use-by date. Check the device and drum for damage if either has been dropped or subjected to mechanical stress.
- Do not use the device or drum if a lancet protrudes. If a lancet remains exposed after blood collection, set the device aside, keep it away from other people and contact Accu-Chek customer care.
- Use the device only with its cap attached. Without the cap, the lancet may penetrate too deeply and cause discomfort.
- Before first use on a child, consult a healthcare professional and start with the lowest penetration depth.
- If skin becomes irritated or inflamed, consult a healthcare professional.
- Do not point the lancing device at your face or another person. Keep small parts away from small children and anyone who might swallow them.
- Do not remove a drum before all six lancets have been used, as a removed drum cannot be reinserted.
- Store at room temperature. Protect the device and drums from extreme temperatures, excessive humidity, sunlight and heat.
- Discard used drums according to local regulations after all six lancets have been used.
