Accu-Chek Active Test Strips 50 Pack are designed for use with the Accu-Chek Active blood glucose meter to quantitatively measure glucose in fresh blood. They support self-testing by people with diabetes and near-patient testing by healthcare professionals.

Key Benefits

  • Compatible with the Accu-Chek Active blood glucose meter for glucose monitoring.
  • Requires approximately 1 to 2µL of blood for a test.
  • Provides a result in approximately 5 seconds when blood is applied while the strip is in the meter.
  • Measures glucose across a 0.6 to 33.3 mmol/L range.
Caution & Storage
  • Self-testing does not replace consultations with a healthcare professional. Receive instruction from a qualified healthcare professional before starting self-testing.
  • Use each test strip once only. Used strips may transmit infection and should be discarded as infectious material according to applicable local regulations.
  • Store at +2 to +30°C in a dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep unused strips in their original test strip container and close the original cap tightly immediately after removing a strip.
  • Do not remove strips with moist hands or store used strips or other items with unused strips.
  • If refrigerated, allow the closed test strip container to reach ambient temperature before removing a strip.
  • Use only test strips within the use-by date. Perform testing at +8 to +42°C and not in direct sunlight.
  • Do not use during ceftriaxone treatment, if you have galactosaemia, have received parenteral galactose, or receive intravenous ascorbic acid.
  • Do not use if peripheral circulation is impaired, including in severe dehydration due to diabetic ketoacidosis or hyperglycaemic hyperosmolar non-ketotic syndrome, hypotension, shock, decompensated NYHA class IV heart failure, or peripheral arterial occlusive disease.
  • People with visual impairment must not use the meter, test strips or control solutions.
  • Keep small parts away from small children and people who may swallow them. If the drying agent in the cap is swallowed, drink plenty of water.
