1. Prepare the limb with a stockinette and adequate soft padding to protect skin and bony prominences.
2. Submerge the Scotchcast Plus roll briefly in room-temperature water, then squeeze out excess water — avoid wringing.
3. Apply overlapping turns (approximately 50% overlap), moulding to the anatomy as you go. Smooth and contour quickly while resin is active.
4. Initial handling strength typically occurs within minutes; full cure depends on layers and ambient temperature (allow up to 24–72 hours for complete setting).
5. Trim and finish edges as required. Follow local clinical protocols and manufacturer instructions for best results.
