3M Comply Steam Type 4 Indicator Strips 1250 – 240 Pack
3M Comply Steam Type 4 Chemical Indicator Strips 1250 – 240 Pack are internal chemical indicators for monitoring steam penetration inside instrument packs during sterilisation cycles.
Each paper strip measures approximately 1.5 x 20 cm and contains indicator ink that changes from off-white to dark brown or black after exposure to the specified steam-sterilisation conditions.

How to Use
Place an indicator strip inside each pack at the point considered most difficult for steam to reach, following the steriliser, packaging and facility procedures. After processing, compare the indicator response with the manufacturer instructions.
Result Interpretation
The colour change confirms exposure to specified steam-cycle conditions at the strip’s location. It does not by itself prove sterility and must be used as part of a complete sterilisation-monitoring programme.
Caution & Storage
Do not use for dry heat, ethylene oxide or other low-temperature sterilisation processes. Keep unused strips dry, protected from chemicals and stored according to the package instructions.
