What is Solal Carnitine used for:

Carnitine is indicated for enhanced physical performance and muscle recovery after exercise.

Pharmacological Action:

Carnitine plays a key role in cellular energy production. It is essential for beta-oxidation of long-chain fatty acids in the mitochondria. Carnitine increases the oxidative capacity of liver and muscle during exercise and promotes recovery of muscle fibre thickness.

How to use Solal Carnitine Capsules:

Individuals suffering from hypothyroidism or a seizure disorder must consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use. Do not use this product if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to any of the ingredients including excipients. This medicine has not been evaluated by the Medicines Control Council. This medicine is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Health supplements are intended only to complement health or supplement the diet.

Side Effects:
In general, side effects are mild and rare but can include gastrointestinal disturbances such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea and abdominal cramps. Body odour and seizures may also occur in some patients.

Contraindications:
There are no known contraindications.

Interactions:
Taking Carnitine might decrease the effectiveness of thyroid hormone replacement.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding:
Safety in pregnancy and breastfeeding has not been established.

• L-Carnitine-L-tartrate Providing L-carnitine 500mg - 746mg

  Inactive ingredients: Hypromellose (cellulose) vegetarian capsule shell (gelatine free), magnesium stearate (vegetarian – flow agent) and talc.

  Sugar-free.
  Suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
