Jelco IV Catheter Radiopaque 22G x 25mm (Blue) — 50 Pack

Reliable, sterile peripheral IV access with Jelco radiopaque 22G catheters. This 50-pack of blue, 25mm (1") single-use IV cannulas delivers clear radiographic visibility and dependable venous access for IV therapy, medication delivery, bolus injections and blood sampling in clinical, emergency and outpatient environments.

Key Benefits

  • Radiopaque Teflon catheter body for x‑ray visibility — useful when radiographic confirmation is required.
  • Color-coded blue hub for quick 22G identification and faster clinical workflow.
  • 25mm (1") length suited to a wide range of peripheral venous access situations.
  • Sterile, single‑use design reduces infection risk and supports safe IV therapy practice.
  • Smooth catheter tip and stainless‑steel introducer needle enable atraumatic insertion and improved patient comfort.
  • Standard Luer-compatible hub for secure connection to syringes, IV tubing and infusion sets.
Ingredients and Materials

Medical-grade Teflon (PTFE) radiopaque catheter body with embedded radiopaque stripe (barium sulfate) for x‑ray visibility; stainless‑steel introducer needle; color‑coded polymer hub (blue). Sterile, single‑use construction; compatible with standard Luer fittings.

How to Use
  1. Perform hand hygiene and follow aseptic technique; prepare the insertion site per facility protocol.
  2. Select an appropriate vein and stabilize the limb. Open sterile packaging and inspect device integrity.
  3. Perform peripheral IV insertion using the trained technique. Advance catheter over the introducer needle until flashback is observed.
  4. Withdraw the needle, secure the catheter with dressing, flush with saline and connect to IV line or cap as required.
  5. Dispose of the needle in an approved sharps container and document gauge, site and time of insertion.
Who It’s For

Intended for use by trained healthcare professionals — nurses, paramedics, phlebotomists and clinicians — requiring reliable peripheral venous access for IV therapy, medication administration, blood sampling and emergency care in hospitals, clinics, ambulances and outpatient facilities.
