A.Vogel Echinaforce Echinacea Tablets 60 Pack A herbal medicine used to prevent or treat symptoms associated with colds, flu and respiratory tract infections, including recurrent respiratory tract infections.

The Echinacea purpurea herb and root are processed fresh before preparation of the dry extracts.

Ingredients Each tablet contains dry extracts of Echinacea purpurea herb 5.89mg and Echinacea purpurea root 0.31mg. Each tablet also contains 232.6mg lactose.
How to Use
  • For prevention, adults and children over 12 years may take 3 tablets up to twice daily. Children aged 6 to 12 years may take 1 tablet up to three times daily.
  • For acute symptoms, adults and children over 12 years may take 3 tablets three times daily. Children aged 6 to 12 years may take 1 tablet five times daily.
  • Start acute treatment when symptoms first appear.
  • For oral use only. Take with water before meals or allow the tablets to dissolve in the mouth.
Who It's For Dosing is provided for adults and children aged 6 years and older. For children aged 2 to 6 years, Echinaforce Junior chewable tablets or Echinaforce drops are recommended.
Caution & Storage
  • Do not use if you are allergic to echinacea, plants in the Asteraceae family or any of the ingredients.
  • Do not use if you have a progressive systemic disorder, autoimmune disease, immunosuppression or a disease of the white blood cell system.
  • Do not use with immunosuppressant medicines.
  • Atopic patients should consult a doctor before use because echinacea can trigger allergic reactions.
  • Hypersensitivity reactions may include rash, hives, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, angioedema, obstructive bronchospasm, asthma or anaphylactic shock.
  • Consult a doctor, pharmacist or other healthcare professional if symptoms worsen, severe symptoms continue for more than 10 days or a high fever develops.
  • Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only under the supervision and on the recommendation of a doctor.
  • Contains lactose, which may affect glycaemic control in people with diabetes mellitus. People with galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, glucose-galactose malabsorption or fructose intolerance should not take these tablets.
  • Store at or below 25°C and protect from sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
