Ingredients and Materials
Omnifilm Surgical Tape is made from a transparent plastic film backing with a gentle acrylic adhesive. The tape is latex-free and formulated to be hypoallergenic to minimise skin irritation. (Materials commonly used: polyurethane/polyethylene film backing; acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive; paper or plastic release liner.)
How to Use
- Clean and dry the skin around the wound or device.
- Cut the required length of tape and round the corners if desired to reduce lifting.
- Apply tape smoothly over the dressing or device, pressing firmly at the edges to ensure adhesion.
- Replace tape if it becomes soiled, loose or after recommended dressing changes.
- To remove, lift an edge slowly and pull back gently along the skin surface to minimise trauma.
