Measure and position the bandage so the injury is comfortably covered. Apply from distal to proximal (from the end of the limb toward the body) to encourage venous return. Overlap each turn by about 50% to ensure even compression and stability. Do not apply too tightly — check circulation regularly (skin colour, warmth, sensation, capillary refill). Fasten with clips or medical tape. Remove and reapply as needed; wash according to care instructions for reuse.
