Active ingredients (typical formulation): aluminium hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide and simethicone (antifoaming agent). Inactive ingredients may include purified water, sorbitol, flavouring agents, preservatives and stabilisers. Shake well before use. Adults and children 12 years and over: take 10–20 ml (2–4 teaspoons) as needed, preferably after meals and at bedtime. Do not exceed the recommended dose or use continuously for more than 2 weeks without medical advice. For children under 12, consult a healthcare professional before use.

Adco-Mayogel is suitable for adults and adolescents who experience occasional heartburn, acid reflux, sour stomach or indigestion. It is not intended to treat chronic or severe gastrointestinal conditions—seek medical advice if you have ongoing symptoms, unintentional weight loss, difficulty swallowing or persistent stomach pain.

Consult your doctor or pharmacist before use if you have kidney disease, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are taking prescription medications (e.g., certain antibiotics, iron supplements, or other oral drugs), as antacids can interact with some medicines. Side effects may include constipation or diarrhoea. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place below 30°C and away from direct sunlight. Do not use after the expiry date printed on the bottle. If symptoms persist for more than 2 weeks or worsen, seek medical advice.
