What are Pinnacle Ferramino Forte tablets?

An iron amino acid chelate supplement.

How to use:

 Take one tablet daily or as directed by your healthcare professional.

Ingredients: Each capsule contains:

Iron Amino Acid Chelate 20%
(Equivalent to 24mg elemental Iron)
Folic acid - 250 µg

Precautions, Contra-indications and Side Effects:

If you are sensitive to any of the ingredients you should not take this product.

Stop taking this product if any adverse reaction occurs.

Patients taking any other medication should consult their health care professional before taking any complementary medicine.

Keep all iron supplements out of the reach of children.

If suffering with any anaemia check with your healthcare professional as to whether it is due to an iron deficiency before taking this product.

Bone building drugs, tetracycline, quinolone antibiotics, penicillamine or thyroid hormones should not be taken within

2 hours of taking an iron supplement as the iron may decrease their absorption and effectiveness.

High intakes of other minerals particularly calcium, magnesium and zinc can interfere with iron absorption.

The most common side effects of iron are mild gastrointestinal irritation, constipation or diarrhoea and nausea.

Severe iron poisoning is characterized by damage to the intestinal lining, liver failure, nausea and vomiting and shock.

In the case of accidental overdosage call a healthcare professional or ambulance immediately ensuring that the bottle or container is available.
