Costiway IV Admin Set Paed 60 Dropper
The Costiway Paed IV Administration Set 60 Dropper is a sterile, single-use microdrip infusion set designed for precise fluid delivery in pediatric and neonatal care. With a 60 drops/mL drop factor, clear drip chamber and luer lock compatibility, this pediatric IV set ensures accurate dosing, safe connection and reliable infusion control for hospitals, clinics and emergency use.
Key Benefits
- Precise microdrip control (60 drops/mL) for accurate pediatric fluid and medication dosing.
- Sterile, single-use design reduces infection risk and cross-contamination.
- Clear drip chamber and transparent tubing for easy visual monitoring of flow.
- Luer lock connector for secure, universal compatibility with syringes and IV lines.
- Latex-free components reduce the risk of allergic reactions.
- Compact, flexible tubing with roller clamp for accurate flow regulation.
Ingredients and Materials
Manufactured from medical-grade materials commonly used in IV administration sets to ensure safety and compatibility: PVC tubing (phthalate-free where specified), polycarbonate or polypropylene drip chamber, polypropylene spike and luer connector, silicone or PE seals. Components are latex-free and supplied sterile for single-patient use.
How to Use
- Check packaging integrity and expiry date before use.
- Open the sterile pack using aseptic technique. Attach the spike to the IV fluid bag and hang the bag securely.
- Prime the tubing by allowing fluid to fill the drip chamber and purge air from the line until fluid reaches the distal end.
- Connect the luer lock end to the patient’s IV catheter or a compatible connector, ensuring a secure fit.
- Set the flow rate using the roller clamp or infusion pump as clinically indicated, using the 60 drops/mL microdrip factor for precise calculations.
- Monitor infusion site and flow regularly; discontinue and replace the set according to institutional policy or if contamination is suspected.
Who It’s For
Designed for pediatric and neonatal patients requiring controlled IV fluid therapy or medication infusion. Ideal for use in hospitals, pediatric wards, emergency departments, outpatient clinics and home health settings where precise microdrip infusion is necessary.
