What  is Solal Omega 3 Oil Flaxseed Oil used for:

A vegetarian omega-3 supplement, which is a source of essential fatty acids useful for heart, immune system and brain health. Flaxseed oil contains the highest levels of omega 3 fatty acids of all plants. Omega 3 fatty acids are essential for life and also protect the heart, brain and immune system.

Pharmacological Action:

Flaxseed oil is a rich source of fatty acids with alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), an omega-3 fatty acid being the most abundant. ALA is a precursor to the longer and more unsaturated omega-3 fatty acids eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). Omega-3 fatty acids have been shown to have numerous health benefits.

How to use Solal Omega 3 Oil Flaxseed Oil Capsules:

  • Adults: t

    ake 1 capsule twice daily after meals.
  • Children under 12 years of age: take 1 capsule daily after a meal.

Contraindications:
Do not use if you are taking health products that affect blood coagulation (e.g. blood thinners, clotting factor replacements, aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oils, vitamin E) as this may increase the risk of spontaneous bleeding.

Interactions:
There are no known interactions.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding:
Not safe for use during pregnancy or whilst breastfeeding.

  • Flaxseed oil - 1000mg
  • Providing
  • Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA)m - 520mg
  • Linoleic acid - 160mg
  • Oleic acid - 200mg
  • Vitamin E - 6mg

  • Inactive ingredients: Carnauba wax, potato starch, sorbitol, eucheuma seaweed, mono- and diglycerines of fatty acids.

    Suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
