Containing 10% povidone‑iodine (equivalent to 100 mg per g), this 25 g amber gel is effective against bacteria, viruses, fungi and spores—ideal for minor wounds, abrasions, burns, ulcers, and postoperative sites.

Ingredients
  • Povidone‑iodine 10% w/w (100 mg iodine per g gel)
  • Excipients include poloxamer 407, citric acid, disodium phosphate and purified water 
How to Use
  1. Clean and dry affected area thoroughly.
  2. Apply a liberal amount of gel evenly over wound or ulcer site.
  3. Cover with sterile dressing if required; reapply as needed.
  4. Use only as directed and for recommended duration unless advised by healthcare provider.

Caution & Storage
  • For external use only—do not apply on large or deep burns or extensive denuded skin due to risk of iodine absorption 
  • Do not use if allergic to iodine or povidone; avoid use in neonates under 6 months, pregnant or breastfeeding women unless advised by clinician (monitor thyroid function) 
  • May interfere with thyroid function tests or lithium therapy; discontinue if skin irritation occurs
  • Store in a dry place below 25 °C; keep out of reach of children and avoid contact with fabrics (staining may occur)
