Ingredients and Materials

Active ingredient: Acriflavine (1:1000 approx. 0.1% w/v).
Formulation: Aqueous antiseptic solution prepared in purified water with minor stabilisers appropriate for topical use. Packaged in a 100ml plastic or glass bottle with a secure cap to prevent leakage and contamination. Free from added fragrances or colouring agents intended for topical application; note: acriflavine is a dye and may impart colour.

How to Use

For topical wound antisepsis only. Clean the wound or affected area with sterile saline or clean water first. Apply a small amount of Acriflavine 1:1000 solution to the wound using a sterile swab or gauze pad. Allow the solution to dry and, if required, cover with an appropriate dressing. Repeat application 1–3 times daily or as advised by a healthcare professional. For veterinary use, apply topically to affected skin areas; consult a vet for livestock dosing and safety. Do not inject; do not use on deep puncture wounds without professional guidance.

Who It’s For

Suitable for adults and older children for minor cuts, grazes, abrasions and superficial infected lesions requiring topical antisepsis. Also used in veterinary first-aid for spot treatment of minor skin infections in animals. Not recommended for neonates or for use on extensive burns, severe wounds or mucous membranes—seek professional medical or veterinary advice in those cases.

Caution & Storage

Caution: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth and mucous membranes. Acriflavine is a dye and may stain skin, clothing and surfaces. Use with care in pregnancy or breastfeeding—seek medical advice first. Not suitable for deep puncture wounds, serious burns or major surgical wounds without professional supervision.
