Leukoplast Fixomull Stretch 5cm x 10m

Leukoplast Fixomull Stretch is a breathable, hypoallergenic, non-woven adhesive fixation tape designed for wide area dressing retention and securement of medical devices such as catheters, cannulas, and tubing. This 5cm x 10m roll conforms comfortably to joints and contoured body areas, offering reliable, long-lasting adhesion while allowing air and moisture vapour to pass to help protect skin integrity.

Key Benefits

  • Flexible, stretchable non-woven backing conforms to knees, elbows, and other moving or contoured areas for comfortable wear.
  • Skin-friendly, hypoallergenic polyacrylate adhesive; not made with natural rubber latex.
  • Highly breathable and permeable to air and water vapour to help reduce maceration.
  • Secure, long-lasting hold for dressing fixation and device securement with gentle removal.
  • Ideal for wide-area fixation: over primary dressings, gauze pads, catheters, cannulas, and tubing.
  • Easy to measure and cut with grid-lined release paper for precise, custom sizing.
Ingredients and Materials
  • Backing: soft, white non-woven polyester fabric.
  • Adhesive: hypoallergenic acrylic (polyacrylate) pressure-sensitive adhesive.
  • Liner: paper release liner with measurement grid for easy cutting.
  • Latex status: not made with natural rubber latex.
  • Dimensions: 5cm x 10m roll.

Notes: Product specifications and packaging may vary by region. Non-sterile roll.

How to Use
  1. Prepare skin: clean, dry, and remove oils or lotions for best adhesion. Clip hair if needed.
  2. Measure and cut: use the grid-lined backing to cut to size; rounding corners helps prevent edge lift.
  3. Apply: peel back a portion of the liner and place Fixomull Stretch without tension, smoothing from the center outward.
  4. Secure devices/dressings: ensure full contact around dressing edges, tubing, or cannula sites.
  5. Removal: support the skin and slowly peel back low and parallel to the skin. Use adhesive remover if required.
  6. Change frequency: replace if soiled, loose, or per clinical guidance.

Tip: Avoid stretching the tape during application to reduce risk of blistering or skin trauma.
